This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Bakersfield is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Bakersfield is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Authentic Thai food with some dishes you don't see at other restaurants like Khao soi. Rich flavors in the curries, tom yum noodle soup, pad see ew and food textures that really are enjoyable like the slight char from the wok. Try the jerky appetizer. The dipping sauce has some zip. Everytime I go back, I like to try a new dish. π

The food was good, but some of the dishes such as the parang curry and pad see ew was a little bit on the sweet side. I had to add some spicy chili fish sauce to my rice and pad seed ew to balance out the flavors. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The mango sticky rice was delicious and the mango was just ripe enough and sweet. Overall, the experience brought back great memories of us being in Thailand πΉπ. Can't wait t9 go back! Kop kun kap, aroi mak mak! π

Let's start with welcoming , came with my family and three kids waited 2 minutes waiting for someone to come and seat us, while the place is almost empty, one guy came and tried to squeeze us between two tables and asked him for us to move other part, he did but I felt he was not happy, anyway, first time into this place that means I dont know anything about their food or services plus we are fan of Asian food, so we placed orders took long time to come out of 7 dishes we were so pleased with only 2 disregard they messed up with one order and had to return it, orange chicken and pan fried noodles was the best the rest was normal not fancy or tasty, ended up every couple of minutes ask for more napkins each time they give you 1 or 2 and we are 6. Ended up asking for my bill I was shocked for a place like this to pay around 290 dollars and there were 40 dollars party fee no one told you about it, really frustrated, I should went to a decent restaurant and paid way less. Unfortunately, one of my list food options has been crossed out.
